I lost hope in India when a war mongering genocidal criminals got elected in power. A scholar Dr. Manmohan Singh stepped down as Prime Minister was a disheartening moment of my life. I realized quite early that the situation is going to be worse. With CJP protest bringing up the issues on ground felt a relief for a moment.
The 20 July 2026 Jantar Mantar reminded me of a Bollywood movie with full of courage – ‘ Rang De Basanti ‘. I watched ‘ Rang De Basanti ‘ first time in my teens. I felt a sense of justice watching the boys make the defense minister pay the price for his corruption.
This CJP protest represented every brutality I have seen in a Movie long back ago. It is one thing to watch as cinema or entertainment and another to see this happening in real life, and even more shuddering to be the one going through this.

The striking resemblance of real life to this brutality is deeply unsettling.
A wise man addressing his last official press conference said, “I sincerely believe it will be disastrous for the country to have Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister.”

I have observed this crooked party over past 12 years. I have come to a conclusion that these parasites are not ethical in any sense, neither are their supporters. All these years, bittering about these scumbags, sometimes I feel I am becoming a product of hatred. I do not want to lose my conscience. I do not want hate to take over me, despite how painful love has been.
I’m living with 24/7 rage, may be due to aging, or may be because of this bloodthirsty regime. The CJP protest felt as if I can have voice too. All these years, so many unpublished, unsaid words swirling in my diary scream at me. Every once in a while, these trapped words start haunting me, choking my breath, begging me for their freedom.
I am not a patriot or a nationalist, in fact I am against everything that divides humanity – specifically borders. I have my own reasons: Almost all developed nations spend a huge chunk of money on defense and securing borders, so their sponsored capitalists can hoard natural resources and exploit people who just want to LIVE.
In the Movie, the boys were agitated and angry at the whole nexus of businessmen’s profit and politicians’ corruption – they took an action which sounds heroic. In today’s India, those in power have reached mountain of arrogance, literally abusing us however they can. No Indian has a voice today. There is no media, no justice. Every rulebook has been tweaked to benefit the crooked.
In all forms of government, the Democracy is the most accountable form of government, yet across the globe, dictators are rising once more, why? It appears to me that we don’t learn from history. As I see, after the French Revolution, those in power perfected the art of suppression, ensuring they would never have to face another revolution. The French Revolution taught tyrants a lesson – not compassion, but how to suppress dissent before it could become a revolution.
I think, figures like Rahul Gandhi, Aamir Khan, or Shahrukh Khan hesitate to support social causes because of the fear instilled by those in power. But the situation is even more insidious. Even if they do break through that wall of fear to speak out, BJP / RSS IT cell machinery will immediately weaponize their names to discredit the movement. In the end, their endorsement may devalue the very cause they are trying to support. Even so, that doesn’t justify them standing on the sidelines. I am deeply disappointed in these celebrities.
Walking the path of non-violence is an austerity of the soul. The everyday hopelessness and relentless atrocities make one doubt this path of non-violence. People say that in the end, love conquers all. But people also say justice delayed is justice denied. The patience required to wait for that delayed justice, where love is supposed to conquer – feels worthless when hate simply resurfaces after every brief pause.
May love conquer quickly this time, and hate finds no room to resurface ever.
Perhaps CJP is my last hope !
Thank you everyone who is on ground and every supporters .

My sincere gratitude to those who chose to ask questions rather than being blind followers.
